KM Yachtbuilders is dedicated to the construction of custom built aluminium yachts. All the yachts we build together with Dykstra Naval Architects are called ‘Bestevaer’. Besides this well known name, we also built many custom one-off yachts, especially for high latitude sailing.
Every yacht we built is unique, and built specifically for its owner. No two yachts are the same, as each owner has his own wishes and demands. The yacht has to fit the owner and his family, like an Italian made suit!
Our yard is one of the few yards left that has it’s own engineering departement, aluminium construction, interior builders, electricians, mechanics, painters and riggers. This means we can handle a new built or a reft from start to end, all at our own premises.
